Sanlam Talent Brand Ambassador Program
Challenge
Sanlam, one of South Africa’s leading financial services groups, wanted to showcase the next generation of talent within the organisation while strengthening its employer brand. The business identified a group of high-potential young employees to put forward for Mail & Guardian’s 200 Young South Africans. Beyond the nominations, the company wanted these young professionals to become authentic brand ambassadors who could amplify internal values and culture through their own voices. The challenge was to equip them with the tools, content and confidence to represent Sanlam’s brand in a personal way on LinkedIn.
Solution
We created a LinkedIn workshop and individual profile audits, educating the employees on how to position themselves as credible thought leaders and employer brand influencers. To set them up for long-term success, we built a multimedia content library that captured their personalities and expertise.
Result
The program created a cohort of confident young professionals actively representing Sanlam’s employer brand online. Each ambassador launched with an optimised LinkedIn presence, a bank of high-quality content, and the tools to sustain their voice as a changemaker.
